Bhakti-Yoga means to connect with the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna by the medium of selfless loving service. The word yoga means connect and the word bhakti means selfless loving devotional service.
Since time without immemorial we have been focused on our temporary existence in this material world where birth, death, old age and disease are feeling unnatural for us. Why is this unnatural for us? Because we are spirit souls and our original position is that we are eternal, full of knowledge and bliss. We are wandering in this material world and for countless times we have accepted and given up our bodies by the process of birth, old age, disease and death.
By following the proces of Bhakti-Yoga we restore our spiritual conciousness and re-establish our relationship with the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna.
Bhakti-Yoga frees us from our material bondage to this world and allows us break through this repeated circle of birth and death and go back to our original home as eternal souls, back to Godhead.
