The whole first chapter is about sadhana practice. The first step is to worship Sri Gauranga dev who delivers the living beings from Kali Yuga. The easiest way to get entrance into sadhana is when we get mercy of gauranga mahaprabu. How to attract sri gaura hari? By continually chant the holy names.

When we say Ra = radha and Krishna are present. When we say dha = it means Madhava who runs after radha. So we can not separate Krishna from radha and radha from Krishna. Radha Rani is manifested from Radha Rani her shakti because inseperable they are togheter.

All the 9 limbs of bhakti are performed by doing kirtan. If it is not perfomed with kirtan it is useless. Kirtan itself does not need other support of other limbs of bhakti. If we do archana like yagya etc. or other activities of bhakti we always also need kirtan. Nama Kirtan is therefore essential. We need prema dhana and maha shakti and we can get this very quick by the 9 limbs of bhakti. following the 9 limbs of bhakti gives us very strong potency for krishna prema. In that 9 limbs of bhakti. if we chant without offenses it can give us krishna prema (this is a detailed point). We are chanting with offenses and that is the reason why we get stuck. Nama aparadha, dhama aparadha, seva aparadha, vaisnava aparadha. we are always surrounded by vaisnavas. sometimes we think that we are intelligent and think that we can judge. But we have to consider if our mind has the authority to judge.

When associating with non-devotees we get influenced by them. Suppose in holy we have different colors. if i throw red color on you, you become red and if i throw green on you, you become green. How we associating, we get colored by that. if we associate with those who are not into bhakti. we will get to see from their perspective. if we associate with those who serve sadhus we get to see their perspective. You get the color of those who you are associating with.

Maturity will change our priorities and in this way we can grow in our bhakti. It omes by the association of high class devotees.

If we have a beautiful garden Bhakti is like a growing creeper. The creeper goes up, but if a mad elephant stands on the creeper. That elephant will destroy the whole garden which was build with so much love and endevours. The beautiful garden that gurudev planted in my heart. vaisnava aparadh will destroy this.

One devotee once said to Mahaprabhu: I want to say something, I used to critisize one devotee and now realize that I was wrong back then. Mahaprabhu said you are so simple and have nothing to hide.
You used the same tung to critisize that vaisnava and now you are glorifying that vaisnava with the same tung.

The book heart of Krishna by Srila Bhaktivedanta Pramode Puri Gosvami Maharaj zooms in on the topic vaisnava aparadh. Why? Because this is the only thing where we have to be very careful at. Aparadha will make us loose interest to chant and perform all kinds of devotional activities.

Summary:

Our adhikaar is our level of understanding according to our own qualification.

With one's previous sanskara's one gets bhakti. What is the meaning of previous sanskara's? It does not have to mean that one get's bhakti because of previous lifes, Bhakti can also come in the same life, because of sanskara's that you got in this same life.

The Gaudiya Math is her to cure us from our diseases. Not everyone is the same because everyone has his own adhikaar.

One time a acharya came to distribute cookies. He opened the cookie box and handed out cookies. One devotee was asking how can that be prasadam? He did not offer it and says he is distributing prasadam. When a acharya, a surrendered soul who offer their, body, speech, thoughts and soul to Krishna 24/7. Anything what comes in their hands get’s offered automatically. So externally it can look like that he did not offer something. A new cake that touches offered cookies becomes prasad and can not be offered anymore.

Maturity makes difference in how you perceive. Harinaam can be perceived different. One thinks harinaam is to chant away sins and another person thinks harinaam is the best way to perform sadhana bhakti and so on.
By chanting harinaam sincerely one will get more and more qualification. And at a certain point thing will become more and more clear to you.
People often can not understand a pure devotee. Because People imply their own understanding in understanding pure devotees, I am like that so he must be like that.

We adopt the nature of the person that we are absorbed in. It is difficult to get absorbed into hari, guru and vaisnava’s but we have to try.
Being childish is thinking that one is qualified for something. Never do something that is not in your adhikaar, because that will obstruct in our bhakti.
